"I would highly recommend at least some case for the Pixel 8. It has a glass-covered back, which makes it hard to grip, easy to slip off every surface, and easy to shatter. The sides of the screen are curved very slightly, which from what I've read is the cause of the micro scratches at the sides and corners of my phone that slowly multiplied after a few months of taking the phone out of my pocket. Now that my phone rant is over, this case is great. It fixes the issues with the phone I've mentioned. It feels nice to hold, and I can get a good grip with it. The case makes it harder to press the physical buttons, but it is easier than different cases on other phones I've tried. The case protrudes in front of the screen a bit, which, while protecting the screen from drops and "dangerous" pockets, will make it harder to do the back gesture on the same side your performing hand is on. That being said, I changed the back gesture sensitivity to low when I got the phone and kept it at low after I got the case. Also, I will gladly more protection with the harder back gesture."

"I have a Liquid Air on my Pixel 6, and since I upgraded to a Pixel 8 Pro it was a no-brainer to get the same case. They look great, improve the grip significantly, and I actually appreciate it covers the metal lens housing on the P8Pro so no shine or glare happens. The case on my Pixel 6 (now demoted to being my secondary phone) has held up remarkably well, and I see no reason to think the one on my Pixel 8 Pro won't do the same."
