Automatic ON/OFF
HARDBOOK Case is designed to function like the Apple Smart Cover.
It features embedded magnetics to automatically trigger the Sleep/Awake function when opening or closing the cover.Please note the iPad must be removed from the top left corner of the hard casing.
Attempting to remove the iPad from the top right corner may cause the casing to seperate from the Hardbook as well as add pressure to the volume rocker cutout.Cases with a flip cover may press down the Aluminum Home Button as the button raises the home button slightly. Aluminum Home Buttons used with GLAS.t Screen Protectors are compatible with flip cases.
Q. Will the magnetic sleep/wake feature work on the iPad Mini?
A. Yes, the magnetic sleep/wake feature works on The iPad Mini.
Q. Is the Hardbook case compatible with an iPad that has a skin guard or body shield?
A. Yes, the Hardbook case will work with an iPad that has a skin guard, however, the iPad will fit a bit tighter when installed into the plastic frame. But it will NOT work with a Body Shield.
Q. Is the Hardbook compatible with the GLAS.t?
A. Yes, the Hardbook and the GLAS.t will be compatible.
Q. Is there a magnet on the case that holds it to the screen?
A. No, the Hardbook magnets are only for the sleep/awake function. There are no magnets that will attach to the screen of the device. The Hardbook cover will sit on top of the iPad Mini.

Quality Design Value So I baught this about 3 weeks ago and worked very fine. However, now the plastic that holds together the iPad is breaking. Bother top corners of the plastic casing on my protector are now broken and it is pretty disappointing. I have not dropped or done anything to my iPad so I don't know why the casing is even breaking. I paid good money yet my product is not in good condition after such a short period of time.

Quality Design Value I love how comfortably it fits the iPad. Very sleek, clean. Over time, though, it would not stand properly, constantly slips off the stopper. Also wished it had more than one viewing angle. Other than that, it's a beautiful product, definitely holds up very well. Hope they work out those kinks and bring out a new case.

Value Quality Design Been through 9 Mini cases total and the Spigen trumps them all. Fantastic fit and finish, acts like a book but also stands up for video viewing unlike many other book-like cases. Plus it physically takes a beating while protecting the Mini perfectly. ALL the thumbs up!

Value Quality Design This case is beautifully made, the iPad sits in there very securely and I love the smart on/off feature.
I'm very happy with the look, the feel and the quality.
The only negative comment I have is that there is only one viewing angle and it is too steep to type - good for viewing or if you have an external keyboard, but no good for typing.
It's more expensive that something I can buy locally so I'm a bit disappointed that it isn't the perfect case - but it's pretty close.(Posted on 12/20/12)

Value Quality Design Does not stand up like other cases I have had. The little leather catcher needs to be a bit thicker or have 2 side by side. The lower stand is not very stable, too much bounce.
