SGP's Commitment with Carbonfund

SGP has grown tremendously in the past few years and we decided that it was only right for us to give back to our society. In the fast-paced and ever-changing consumer electronics industry, we wanted to give back to the essential needs of our world. We decided to make a commitment to fight wasteful energy, pollution, and global warming. Among the many environmental projects, we decided SGP would take part in Reforestation projects. We felt there was no better way to fight climate change than by increasing and preserving our forests. For many years we have heard of our precious Amazon rainforests being destroyed through modernization and commercialization. This destroys not only the trees, soil, and wildlife, but it also affects the societies around the forests. By aiding in the replanting of our trees, we can fight global warming and offset carbon emissions.

At SGP, we know that participating in carbon offsets programs is great. However, environmental responsibilities should not be limited to projects; it should be a part of our daily routines. In our office, we have implemented these environmental practices to curb our carbon footprint.

1. We have changed all our meeting formats to digital presentations rather than printing out paper agendas. 
2. We have decided to keep one printer in our office to limit the amount of wasteful printing. 
3. We recycle all of our paper boxes, cans, and bottles.

We are proud to be working with Carbonfund.org to reduce carbon emissions around the world.
