SPIGEN SGP Samsung Galaxy Nexus Case Neo Hybrid Series

This is my third buy of SPIGEN products. I'm amazed at the light weight of the case while looking great. I enjoy this case. (Posted on 5/10/12)

Just received this wonderful new case today and immediately applied it to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Wow! What a perfect fit that keeps the integrity contour of the phone. SGP adds minimal bulk to this all ready large device.

Does take a little bit of moving around to get the volume button with a correct fit. Besides that, this product rocks!!! (Posted on 4/28/12)

I got this case realizing it was made for the gsm Nexus, but was convinced by good reviews that it would work. It does go on the phone, but is stretched tight with a large gap in the rubber at the top. Even still the rubber gets loose on the back around the camera hole.

I do like the case but it sounds like the ultra has better materials and is a better value. It sucks that Samsung chose to make slightly different versions of the same phone, but why can't sgp just break down and design a case for the cdma version with extended battery? I just received my case today (white) and I am so happy with it. I've tried many others and this was the perfect middle ground.
My otterbox was too thick and I found the material slippery, case mate was too thin and didn't wrap around the front of my nexus. This one is a perfect compromise of both and has a stylish colour as well.

Really really satisfied. Will update the post if it doesn't handle wear and tear.

After tons of scouring the forums I decided to purchase this case for my Verizon Galaxy Nexus. To get straight to the point: The case will fit.

It takes a bit of massaging but the case will fit on the phone. Caution however, I was a bit too rough and ripped a part of the inner silicone in an effort to get the volume rocker buttons and silicone case to line up. I take full responsible for it and despite the tear, the case still works and looks great because of how the outer shell locks into the silicone holding it tight against the phone. I plan on buying another case, or maybe waiting until they create a Verizon specific version so the stretching wouldn't be necessary. But I know that the current case will fit, I was just a bit too rough. My fault.

I had a little trouble with the bottom volume button being constantly depressed but I kept at it and the buttons work fine now. I am using the extended battery and door. The fit of the case is quite snug around the phone. It's looks like a completely different phone, that's how well it fits. The only problem with fitment is across the top where the silicone doesn't seem reach all the way. It's hardly even noticeable. The case is fairly slippery compared to my previous case, the incipio, that I got on launch day. I'll learn to deal with slipperiness because the slimmed down feel and heft of the phone is worth it.

So in conclusion, the case will fit, and be careful when you stretch it. If you don't want to deal with the "massaging" and stretching, wait til a Verizon version, if not, click "add to cart" and enjoy.

I have had this case for over a month now and i am loving it. I have the reventon yellow color which is very nice bright yellow color and looks very stylish and modern. The inner black piece is not really a rubberized materiel but more like a plastic and rubber mixture. But this is not a concern the grip on the case is very firm, the case won't let go of your hand easily.

Overall great product and will make your GNex look much better than it already is. (Posted on 4/7/12)

Because it is made out of rubber in the middle, the case floats as the phone gets heated. I really enjoyed the outlook and quality of the product but was not fully satisfied with the design flaw where the rubber gets floated as you use the phone. I love sgp products but this rubber should be changed to a bit more firm rubber material. (Posted on 3/19/12)

This Case is great. It protects the phone. It's very slim, and it hugs the phone. It add no bulk whatsoever. The colors make your phone stand out that much more. I've gotten many compliments on my phone because the case makes it so noticeable.

I now have Silver, White, Red, and Yellow. I like to switch the shells out from time to time so i will always have a fresh look!

I'd like to start off by saying that I don't own this case because I have the Verizon LTE version of the phone and as stated the case is only available for the GSM version. .

This case IMHO is the best looking case I have seen to date. I would purchase immediately if it were available for my phone, so please SGP produce one that will fit the LTE Galaxy Nexus.

I can also see myself purchasing several of them, I would also suggest to the good people at SGP to make the outer shells available to purchase only as for I would love to have several color shells to choose from without having to purchase the whole case.

The case is awesome, best one I"ve ever had for a phone, however i cannot fully enjoy it because it's designed for the GSM Galaxy Nexus and doesn't fit perfectly on my VZW Nexus. SGP should really release a version of this case designed with the LTE Nexus in mind.

I just got this case today and I am pleased with the design of the case. The color coating of the case looks and feel premium, although the hard part of the case could be made better. That said, this case practically adds no bulk and size to the slim phone at all. One MAJOR complain I have with the case is, I couldn't fit the charger on the MicroUSB port! the cutout hole was too small and kept pushing out the cable. I am pretty disappointed with this, coming from SGP which I consider 'Premium'. Although I was able to fix this problem by scraping the sides of the cutout hole with an X-Acto knife so that it was big enough to fit the charger. I bought the yellow one for Verizon LTE model after reading a thread over at XDA Developers and Droid Life regarding this case. I'm using an extended battery so initially I was having hard time fitting the silicon cover to align perfectly with the buttons. However, after stretching a bit myself, I managed to fit it ALMOST perfectly. Some people recommended removing a battery door to make it fit better, in case you're using an extended battery for LTE GN, but I didn't want to remove it.

After all, this is great for even LTE version WITH extended battery and battery door. Very happy with the purchase. Only complain is that it's a bit pricey especially if you buy from Spigen website. Amazon lists the same pricing, but no tax and no shipping charges.

Also, it'd be nice if SGP sells plastic components in different color separately, maybe around $5-10, so I can change colors without paying $20~30 for the entire things every time. (Posted on 3/3/12)
