Steinheil GLAS.tR SLIM is made to protect the LCD from damage and scratches with specially processed transparent glass that has been reinforced to increase shock absorbency. The GLAS.tR SLIM has all the great properties of the GLAS.t SLIM, but it's been improved to ensure even longer lasting durability. The R in GLAS.tR stands for the rounded edges of the screen protector. Being made of glass, the edges of the screen protector are the most vulnerable to chipping. The rounded edges help to deflect shock from bumps and drops. The glass has been designed to be 28% slimmer and still maintain its high level of surface hardness of 8~9H. When installed, there are no gaps between the LCD and the GLAS.tR SLIM which means the touch screen's sensitivity is unaffected. To prevent any excess force from coming in contact with the edges of the screen protector we highly recommend that a case is used with the GLAS.tR SLIM.
- 28% Slimmer
- Surface hardness : 8~9H : The surface of the GLAS.tR SLIM has a hardness of 8-9H, three times stronger than regular PET film. Even sharp objects such as knives and keys will not scratch the GLAS.tR SLIM.
- Rounded Borders: The edges of the GLAS.tR SLIM are tapered to be chip resistant and more durable.
- Oleophobic Coating : The GLAS.tR SLIM has an oleophobic coating that prevents fingerprints and other contaminants and makes the film easy to clean.
- Delicate Touch : The GLAS.tR SLIM is coated on the back with a strong silicon adhesive that makes installation easy and attaches the film firmly so as to not affect the touch screen's sensitivity.
- Anti-Shatter Film : If broken, the GLAS.tR SLIM breaks into small pieces that are not sharp, making it safer than other glass products.
*When removing for re-use, the adhesive properties might wear off to an extent where the screen protector will not adhere to the device. It is not recommended to reuse the GLAS.tR SLIM once it's been applied. *Using excessive force when installing or removing the screen protector may damage the product.
Q. Does the GLAS.tR Slim work for other Samsung Galaxy devices?
A. No, we are sorry but our Galaxy S4 GLAS.t will only be compatible with Galaxy S4 devices.
Q. How do I install the GLAS.tR Slim?
A. Use the provided alcohol swab to clean your device and make sure that the surface is completely dry and clean afterwards. The tab labeled "Back" is the protective film that covers the adhesive (sticky) side of the screen protector. The tab labeled "Front" is the protective film that covers the front of the GLAS.t. Remove the Back tab and apply the screen protector to the device screen aligning with the cutouts. Squeegee any bubbles and then remove the Front tab when finished. The GLAS.t is a one-shot install. This means that once the screen protector is applied completely to the device, it cannot be removed and reapplied. Make sure the GLAS.t is centered before laying down the GLAS.t. The GLAS.tR Slim is 0.4 mm thick and will recess the home button. For easy access to the home button, please apply the home button stickers provided with your GLAS.t package.
Q. What happens if I mess up on the installation or something goes wrong with my GLAS.tR Slim?
A. You do not have to worry! Your GLAS.t is protected by our GLAS.t Low-Cost Replacement Program. Simply return the GLAS.t product back to us with the replacement form filled out completely. You can find the form here: www.spigen.com/need1more
Q. How do I remove the GLAS.tR Slim?
A. The GLAS.t can be removed by using a hard card like an ID or credit card. Lift the GLAS.t with the card from any corner of the screen protector. Once the corner has been lifted off the device, hold the corner and remove slowly. If the GLAS.t cracks, it will not shatter. The GLAS.t will not damage or leave residue on your device screen.
Q. Is there anything I should take caution of when using the GLAS.t?
A. The GLAS.t is a product made of glass. While it is tempered to shatter within the film when dropped, there are some things that you need to be aware of when using the GLAS.t. As with most glass products, the edges of the GLAS.t are the most vulnerable areas on the screen protector. This means the edges are the most likely to chip or crack when pressure or force is applied to it. If you see that the edges have chipped or have cracks, please remove the GLAS.t from your device as this can be potentially harmful. Please take care that your device is not accessible to children if your GLAS.t begins to crack. We highly recommend that you use a case along with your GLAS.t screen protector to avoid chipping along the edges. Also we would recommend using a case to protect the edges against any unwanted lifting.
- Saved my phone a couple of times. Review by Marc
Design Value Quality
Hi my name is Marc and I'm a mechanic. I didn't believe in this tech glass at first, but after dropping my s4 in an engine , on cement and dropped a ratchet on it. Imagine the rest of the abuse for the last six months!!! Took it off and presto like new and even if it had several crack and chips on it, it easily came off in one piece. I'm buying another one!

I was on the john and my SGS4 slipped out of my hands. It went off to the side and I swung to catch it, slamming the protective panel against the toilet bowl. Long story short, Spigen's glass saved me having to replace my phone. It was a huge sigh of relieve when I wedged off the panel to find my display was spotless.
Don't poop and text.

- High end class Glass protect cover Review by kleepop

Now I cannot use any cheap film any more.
This is the one.
It is actual glass and tempered which is strong enough as factory's Gorilla glass.
I usually was getting cheap plastic film, but I was getting what I was paying for.
This is a reasonable price. Once I applied it, I was so durable, I didn't even know this is not making any scratches at all, I just like how it feels when I was touching the screen. Very smooth, soft and silky.
It does not leave hard finger prints either.
I showed my S4 to my friends, all they were getting the same screen. SPG should give me some commissions.
I want to buy more just in case, but I don't need to, because one is long lasting.
I got informed this is Made in Korea which the main reason I purchased.

- Pretty while it lasted Review by Tom

I followed the directions and was able to install without any bubbles, hairs or dust and it looked great along with the spigen slim armor case in dark blue. However I just saw a small crack right in the center of the screen but the phone was never dropped, hit, cut abused, etc. It's about half of an inch right now, but I am pretty sure that it will grow with continued use of the phone.
Needless to say I am very disappointed as I thought I had a very protective setup with the case and glass screen protector.

- Strong, Durable, ANTI-SCRACTH PROOF....REALLY SAVES YOUR SCREEN!!!! Review by Derek
Design Value Quality
I've had the Galaxy S4 for about a week now; right when I got home from getting the phone I put the GLAS.tR SLIM on ASAP... Well about a week later I decided to put the protector to test while at work (I was bored)...I started scratching the screen with a utility knife as hard as I could and their was NO SCRATCH!!!! I swear I did it about 50 times!!! Then I decided to hammer down on the screen with the end of the knife (like I said I was bored). It took about 5 hard blows to the screen then a small impact was made and cracked the screen protector. I wasn't worried tho I trust Spigen Products. First time I bought from them but knew they were legit. So I turned off my phone, carefully peeled off the glass screen protector and looked for any flaws on the screen, and their was NOTHING!!!! No scratch, chip, crack; NOTHING!!!! Only thing now I have to get a new one... :( The only way I see the screen cracking or anything is if someone is careless with their phone or intentionally crack it....(me). Worth every penny. Feels amazing. The Jelly Buttons Kinda suck but I but the Aluminum Home Button which I also advise getting. Sounds tricky to install a glass screen protector right? But it's actually EASIER to install than them other screen protectors. The case I have at the moment is a BALLISTIC SG MAXX and it fit perfect. I might just go SPIGEN ALL THE WAY. Oh and another thing to help installation....what I did is I put the ALUMINUM HOME BUTTON on first, then just aligned the hole for the home button first then literally dropped the screen protector on the phone. I didn't press down on it at all just waited a few minutes and let gravity do the work. No bubbles and it only took about 5 min tops. Now for the thickness; It didn't bother me none, couldn't tell it was on! depending on the type of person you are and how you look at things, I think the GLAS.tR SLIM would be better than the NANO slim, but thats just me. Once you read this review it got you all hyped up huh? Go ahead; get it! Unless you don't want maximum protection for your Galaxy S4!!!
GOOD JOB SPIGEN!!! : )
