iPhone 4 / 4S GLAS.t Screen Protector
The Steinheil GLAS.t is made to protect the LCD from damage and scratches with specially processed glass that has been reinforced to increase shock absorbency. The entire surface of the GLAS t is transparent and the back side is covered with a strong silicon adhesive for easy installation. When installed, there are no gaps between the LCD and the GLAS t which means the touch screen's sensitivity is unaffected. To prevent any excess force from coming in contact with the edges of the screen protector we highly recommend that a case is used with the GLAS.t.
The GLAS.t is 0.4mm thick and made with chemically treated, transparent tempered glass.
Surface hardness : 8~9H
The surface of the GLAS.t has a hardness of 8-9H, three times stronger than regular PET film. Even sharp objects such as knives and keys will not scratch the GLAS t.
The GLAS.t has an oleophobic coating that prevents fingerprints and other contaminants and makes the film easy to clean.
The GLAS.t is coated on the back with a strong silicon adhesive that makes installation easy and attaches the film firmly so as to not affect the touch screen's sensitivity.
If broken, the GLAS.t breaks into small pieces that are not sharp, making it safer than other glass products.
* As this is a glass product, please note that the edges of the glass are the most vulnerable areas. We highly recommend that you use a case along with your GLAS.t to avoid chipping or cracking the edges of your GLAS.t.
* When removing for re-use, the adhesive properties might wear off to an extent where the screen protector will not adhere to the device. It is not recommended to reuse the GLAS.t once it's been applied.
* Using excessive force when installing or removing the screen protector may damage the product.
* No Refund & No Exchange if seal is broken or removed.
Q. Does the GLAS.t work for iPhone 3G?
A. No, I am sorry but our iPhone 4/4S GLAS.t is designed only for the iPhone 4 and 4s.
Q. How do I install the GLAS.t?
A. Use the provided alcohol swab to clean your iPhone 4/4S. The tab labeled "Back" is the protective film that covers the adhesive (sticky) side of the screen protector. The tab labeled "Front" is the protective film that covers the front of the GLAS.t. Remove the Back tab and apply the screen protector to the iPhone 4 screen aligning with the cutouts. Squeegee any bubbles and then remove the Front tab when finished. The GLAS.t is a one-shot install. This means that once the screen protector is applied completely to the iPhone, it cannot be removed and reapplied. Make sure the GLAS.t is centered before laying down the GLAS.t. The GLAS.t is 0.4 mm thick and will recess the home button. For easy access to the home button, please apply the home button stickers provided with your GLAS.t package.
Q. What happens if I mess up on the installation or something goes wrong with my GLAS.t?
A. You do not have to worry! Your GLAS.t is protected by our GLAS.t Low-Cost Replacement Program. Simply return the GLAS.t product back to us with the replacement form filled out completely. You can find the form here: www.spigen.com/need1more
Q. How do I remove the GLAS.t?
A. The GLAS.t can be removed by using a hard card like an ID or credit card. Lift the GLAS.t with the card from any corner of the screen protector. Once the corner has been lifted off the iPhone, hold the corner and remove slowly. If the GLAS.t cracks, it will not shatter. The GLAS.t will not damage or leave residue on your iPhone screen.
Q. What cases will work with the GLAS.t?
A. All of our SPIGEN SGP iPhone 4/4S cases will work with the GLAS.t. For other brands, some slider cases may not work with the GLAS.t. The GLAS.t is 0.4 mm thick so if you have any doubts, please contact the case manufacturer.
Q. Is there anything I should take caution of when using the GLAS.t?
A. The GLAS.t is a product made of glass. While it is tempered to shatter within the film when dropped, there are some things that need to be aware of when using the GLAS.t. As with most glass products, the edges of the GLAS.t is the most vulnerable areas on the screen protector. This means the edges are the most likely to chip or crack when pressure or force is applied to it. If you see that the edges have chipped or have cracks, please remove the GLAS.t from your device as this can be potentially harmful. Please take care that your device is not accessible to children if your GLAS.t begins to crack. We highly recommend that you use a case along with your GLAS.t screen protector to avoid chipping along the edges.
Q. What if I had more questions about the product?

- Best yet Review by Scott

As others have professed on here, this is the best screen cover/protector I have ever used. It saved my a** recently when the whole screen protector cracked over 80% of the face from a bad drop, but when I peeled it off it was all on the GLAS, not on my iPhone. So worth it, so I have bought the iPad one as well

- Was not Disappointed Review by diana
Value Quality Design
I spent forever trying to find and effective yet minimalistic way to protect my iphone, and this was exactly what I wanted. I've never written a review for anything before but mostly because I've never been 100 percent satisfied! Anyways, when my package came in with the glas.t, I immediately rushed upstairs and turned the shower on hot, and shut the door. It sounds really weird, but it's the only way I've ever been able to prep a screen for a cover. It keeps all the dust from floating down and back onto the screen. So with my screen with absolutely nothing left on it, I popped this sucker on. Followed the directions, smoothed it out, yadda, yadda. I was a little heartbroken to see that in one corner there was a bubble, but in all, it looked and felt great. The bubble went away, too! So it's been six months, and my phone is doing great. Not to mention, I was a moron and dropped my phone on its corner/face and GUESS WHAT. Yeah, it broke a little...the screen cover, I mean. Its like a miniscule shattered corner. Why am I so happy? Because I know if it were just the screen, it would have made these looong cracks everywhere and eventually have to be replaced. So glas.t saved my butt. Best thing, ever.

- Beautiful screen protector Review by Tammy

Once you go glas, you will never go back to the film screen protectors. I had no problem with installation, came out perfectly. I practiced first putting the protector on the phone w/o peeling off the backing. I made sure my aim was accurate since you only get one chance to really do it. I turned the phone sideways and used both hands to carefuuly place it. Once i was ready, I cleaned my screen with the cloth provided and kept it on the phone til i had peeled back the cling for the screen protector. I carefully wiped the phone one more time and immediately applied it to the screen and tapped the middle as instructed. It intaled itself, it was neat to watch it. The protector is so smooth, its like nothing s on my phone. I also received a free case with my order and i love it. Would definitely order this again!

- Like getting a New iPhone Review by Simonthelion
Design Value Quality
I have used those plastic screen protectors for years on many different phones, including this iPhone 4. After putting the GLAS.t on I was stunned, stunned that I had put up with those protectors as they made images and text dull and fuzzy compared to the GLAS.t. Now it feels like I have a new, naked phone to play with that is sharp and clear, and I couldn't be happier. Plus, after 4 months of use, not a scratch. Getting one for the GF's phone immediately and will buy for all phones in the future. Love it.

- Great feel, but thick and unforgiving installation Review by Jake
Design Value Quality
I tried this protector after using one of Spigen's film protectors for over a year and half. I really liked the film protector, but wanted to give the glass protector a try. There is no comparison in terms of feel and responsiveness; it's like using a naked screen. There are, however, a couple of important downsides in addition to the high cost. First, installation is both easier and harder. Easier in that it is much easier to position a rigid piece of glass than flexible film, and until you press down and start the adhering process, there's a bit of give that allows you to position the protector precisely. But much harder in that the rigidity of the protector means that ANY piece of dust will show up as a nice circle/blemish because it will keep the protector from adhering to the screen. (I had one piece of dust, but fortunately at the top edge, so just cosmetic.) So you really have to make sure that the screen is perfectly clean, and then move fast to get the protector on. Also, the protector is thick, thick enough that even with a Candyshell case with a nice lip, the protector is almost flush with the lip. That reduces the protection of the case, and I can see why using just the protector without a case would be problem. Looks like Spigen has improved the new protectors so they are half the thickness, but unlikely that product is going to be introduced for the 4/4S.
