Product Review (submitted on July 13, 2013):
I have had this case on my Galaxy S4 for about 4 days now and I really like it. I had an Otterbox commuter but was not particularly fond of the rubberized buttons, the color scheme, or the added bulk of the phone. I was looking for something slimmer and that also showed off the phone. I came across this case on a stroke of luck and I really like it. It keeps the phone nice and thin, gives a tactile rubbery type backing, and really accents the phone. I have heard complaints on the audio jack area being too constricted but I rarely ever use my phone to listen to music with headphones. I could see, however, that it might be a touch small for aftermarket headphones (other than the included Samsung ones). It did take me about a day to get used to holding the phone with this new case on as the edge is so thin and refined but it was a minor adjustment and now I notice it feels very natural in the hand.
My one real complaint is the lack of colors. I found some of these for the older Galaxy S3 and they had a much better selection of colors. The current slate blue frame color is too muted. A much brighter blue frame such as their dodger blue would look much better. Hopefully they will expand their color selections in due time and allow purchase of the plastic frames separately. My only other complaint is that the plastic near the charger port is very very thin and seems like it would be very vulnerable to breakage. I oftentimes pick up my phone by gripping with my fingers at the top and bottom and my finger always finds this open area which feels a bit flimsy. A bit of focus on this might bring about an improvement.
In any case (lol, pun) this is a great set up. I don't often write reviews but I was happy to write this one because I enjoy this product so much.
